The hotel will be located at Zadar's landmark Maraska building on the waterfront and will be within walking distance of the city's famousSea Organ, an experimental instrument that plays music through the movement of sea waves. The Event Sales & Planning Executive is responsible to act as a sales specialist and be responsible to cover the relationship building and account management, as well as event management.
• Handling all leads from the sales team and direct client inquiries, regarding group and banqueting requests.
• Following all Hyatt Events Standards for answering phone enquiries, handling email enquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, handling of rates, conducting Hotel Tours, planning Events, creating Event Confirmations, Event execution and Event follow-up.
• Maintaining a close working relationship with the client from the initial proposal sending, to onsite liaison between hotel and organizer.
• Developing professional conference and incentive sales proposals that win business.
• Having the strong hotel product knowledge and be well versed in up-selling techniques.
• Ensuring correct booking procedures are applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-ups, catering terms and contractual agreements.
• Carrying out site inspections, sales conversations, representation of the company.
• Planning of details of events and room reservation, including consultations and detail arrangements, as well as up- and cross-selling.
• Handover of events to the operational departments.
• Use of the various hotel systems, including Envision, Opera and Reserve.
• Maintaining complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel as per hotel's procedures.
• Shared responsibility for reaching business goals through the optimal utilization of our capacities.
• Achieving targets as set by the Director of Sales & Marketing
