Job Description For Business Development Manager - Renowned Facilities Management Company in Dubai

Business Development role within Facilities Management is essential for expanding a company’s market presence, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Sales & Business Development in Facilities Management is mandatory. UAE Experience is mandatory

Required qualifications:

1. Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications related to Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA's Facility Management Professional - FMP, Certified Facility Manager - CFM, or RICS certifications) are often beneficial and may be preferred by some employers.

2. Relevant Work Experience

3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the Facilities Management, Real Estate, Property Management, or related sectors.
Demonstrated track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally within the UAE or GCC market.
Experience in developing and managing proposals, tenders, and contracts in a Facilities Management or service-oriented industry is often essential.

3. Industry Knowledge

Strong understanding of Facilities Management services (e.g., maintenance, cleaning, security, HVAC, landscaping).
Familiarity with UAE’s legal and regulatory framework in relation to facilities, real estate, and health and safety.
Knowledge of current industry trends, sustainable practices, and technological advancements in FM.
